uMshwathi Local Municipality once again recognised and rewarded its best-performing matric learners by handing over educational gifts, including laptops and tablets. These awards form part of the municipality’s ongoing commitment to supporting academic excellence and youth development.
During the handover, Mayor Cllr Mandla Zondi addressed parents and school principals who collected the awards on behalf of learners who have already proceeded to universities. He emphasised the importance of ensuring that the gifts reach the learners as early as possible so that they can support their studies and academic success.
