uMshwathi Local Municipality successfully hosted a Traditional Event to celebrate our diversity cultures but also to provide a platform for our emerging local SMME especially who are females to display their items as a way of introducing them to the market. 

The event was held sometime last year towards the end of the year eSkhotho Primary School, ward 4 under Cllr Cebekhulu.

This event was also used to create awareness against social ills and to mobilise the community to work together with the government to fight against social ills.

The local Mayor His Excellency Mandla Zondi emphasised this in his address. Ours is to ensure that we leave no-one behind hence we take government to where people reside.
