With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our esteemed Municipal Councilor, Sibongiseni Jali. He was born on 22 September 1991 at KwaSwayimane in KwaMaphumulo eSitezi area under Gcumisa Traditional Authority in Ward 6.
The late Councillor Jali was democratically elected in 2021 under the African National Congress (ANC) and he served as Ward 6 Councillor. He passed away on Tuesday, 26 December 2023 after battling illness.
Councilor, Sibongiseni Jali was a young, dedicated, and diligent public servant who worked tirelessly for the betterment of our municipality. His passion for community development and his unwavering commitment to serving the needs of our residents made a lasting impact on the fabric of our municipality.
We encourage members of the community to join us in paying our respects and offering support to his family during this difficult time. The loss is deeply felt by all of us, and we will forever cherish his contributions and the positive impact he made during his tenure.
The funeral will be on Sunday, 31 December 2023 at Taylors Halt, KwaDindi Sport-field, Vulindlela in Msunduzi Local Municipality by 10h00.
Memorial service will be communicated as soon as arrangements are finalized.
