In the deep rural area of Mtulwa, Isibhedlela Kubantu/Operation MBO provided community members with a range of services that were brought closer to the people.
The Department of Health provided all services typically found in a hospital; the Department of Home Affairs brought two trucks to help with ID applications; SAPS assisted with affidavits in addition to security; several banks accompanied SASSA in helping grant recipients open new accounts; the Department of Agriculture gave local farmers educational advice; and the DSD offered psychosocial services. Traditional Leadership, Ward Committees, Department of Education, Ward Committees, Traditional Leadership were among others who provided community support.
