Day 3 of the public service week. Hon. Mayor of uMshwathi Municipality Cllr. Mandla Zondi donated sanitary towels to New Hanover P School in ward 2, Martin Nxumalo Sec in ward 9, Georgenau Combined School in ward 2, eNgoleleni P school in ward 11 and Swayimane High in ward 8.
he Mayor was accompanied by officials from DSD , SAPS , uMgungundlovu District Environmental Health and Department of Health.
Beside handing over of sanitary towels, Mayor had an opportunity to engage with School’s SMT, SGB and Ward Committees to deliberate on all challenges affecting the schools.
He explained to all structures the support services obtained in uMshwathi Thusong Service Centre as some of the challenges require the interventions by departments which are there in Thusong Centre including the office of LTT chairperson who coordinates war room reports.
