uMshwathi Local Municipality led by his Worship Mayor Mandla Zondi together with the Department of Health held a successful Mental Health Program in ward 9, Trustfeed.
This program also dealt with awareness campaigns lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, HIV, STIs, cancer, alcohol and drug abuse, eyesight disorders, dementia etc.
In attendance were medical specialists amongst others who provided services closer to where people are consistent with the democratic government idea of leaving no-one behind and bringing basic services where people reside.
The municipality will continue to work with the Department of Health particularly in taking the hospital to the people which is a key program that came with the democratic government.
